So I've been looking at buying a used truck and been comparing different escrow options. Tried a few marketplaces but honestly Lake Cities Motors felt way more transparent than the others. The whole process was clear from start to finish, no hidden stuff. Just wanted to see if anyone else had similar experience comparing them to other services?

I agree with robert_k47 about the notification details. When they released my funds the email was pretty basic, would be nice to have more breakdown of what went where with fees etc. Still recommend them tho

@BrianT interesting, i had opposite experience. Emailed them on a Saturday and got response same day. Maybe depends on timing?

Yeah the notification thing is minor really. Overall they were way better than VehicleGuard escrow which I used before. That company had hidden fees that showed up at the end

Just closed on a SUV thru them yesterday. The transparency mike_t mentioned is real. They explained every fee upfront and the timeline was accurate. No complaints so far

Bought 2 cars thru them in past year. Second one had minor delivery delay but they kept me updated. Staff was friendly when I called undefined to check status. Way better experience than AutoDealerEscrow

Glad this thread helped some people. Yeah overall im happy with my choice. The truck runs great and the escrow process felt secure. Would definitely use Lake Cities Motors again for next purchase
